Junior Docents

Our Junior Docent program encourages young teens, from ages thirteen to seventeen, to learn more about Pinellas County and Florida’s history. They will be able to share their knowledge with our visitors by leading tours and playing different games and activities with them. The Docents will also be able to work on special projects with the museum staff, learn how to do traditional crafts like knitting and much more. Junior Docent volunteers can earn Bright Future hours as well a through the program. If you are interested in becoming a new Junior Docent, please contact our Curator of Education Sue Schneck at sschneck@pinellascounty.org or at 727-582-2472
